While we should be delighted that we have 50% of population below 25 years, we should also face the reality that many children are deprived of basic education even today. Millions of children in India do not have any access to elementary education. This invariably leads to devastating results such as child labour, substance abuse, trafficking, armed conflict etc. To address this challenge, Jeeva ilaiyaraaja educational trust has envisaged several projects.
The first project would aim to build a school in my home town, which will cater to the underpreviledge children predominently.
